11.04 have experience of projects in Europe, USA, and Africa. In Europe projects include a 25 storey high-rise residential tower and associated mixed-use development. In America, prior to founding 11.04, Chris Roche has design experience including a competition winning $400,000,000 new business district in New Jersey (equivalent to Canary Wharf). In Port Harcourt, Nigeria, 11.04 were asked to design a single textile factory for a charity set up by Judith Amaechi wife of the State Governor, to bring education, training and employment to rural communities. This led to designs being commissioned for 3 factories; 319 schools; and a new cultural and commercial centre. Chris Roche also travelled to Beijing in 2008 as part of a UKTI delegation of British businesses to explore international partnering opportunities with Chinese companies. Chris Roche also served for 2 years on the RIBA’s International Relations sub-committee and initiated an annual RIBA International Conference.
As a student Chris Roche won an international travel scholarship to travel to Japan to study architecture for 5 weeks, and as a graduate Chris won a scholarship to study the architecture of the Barcelona Olympic
